Tree Training
Ben Franklin is credited with saying, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." This is absolutely true concerning tree pruning.

Pruning is easy. Anyone can do it, right?
Well, yes and no. While anyone can purchase loppers or a pruning saw and using those tools is not difficult, there is more to pruning.

Pruning incorrectly can actually harm the tree and cause more unwanted limbs which may be costly to repair or even hazardous.

So what is "correct pruning"?
Correct pruning requires a knowledge of tree biology and a vision of growth potential. It is a lot of science and a little art. Training a tree when it is young and easy/cheap to prune, will prevent expensive restoration projects in the future. it is quite a bit like raising children.

We can train your tree so that when it is old, it will not depart from you.
